Adam Amram is a New York-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and performer whose work moves through folk, rock and roll, country, and city-born Americana.
Raised in a musical family and shaped in part by his father David Amram, Adam brings a lived-in sense of rhythm, story, and community to his songs. His recordings often carry the spirit of live-in-the-room performance, with musicians responding to one another in real time and leaving space for the song to breathe. His upcoming album Tribulations was recorded at Business District Recording in Johnson City, New York with the Amram Family Band and producer Hunter Davidsohn. The record follows To the End and continues Adam’s work as a songwriter grounded in New York life, folk tradition, and a forward-moving band sound.
